A specialized AI assistant for marketing and advertising in the Saudi market: it drafts structured creative briefs and AIDA-based ad copy, respects the Anti-Commercial-Concealment, e-commerce disclosure, and personal-data-protection rules, prepares affiliate marketing agreements and discount-license or food/cosmetic ad-approval requests, and ties every campaign to core performance metrics (Customer Acquisition Cost and Return on Ad Spend) — backed by a knowledge base updated with the latest Ministry of Commerce, GAMR, SDAIA, and SFDA regulations.

Example tasks it handles

Example 1

Draft a structured creative brief for a new-product launch campaign on Instagram and TikTok

Example 2

Write AIDA-structured ad copy for an e-store landing page compliant with the E-Commerce Law disclosure requirements

Example 3

Best Practices

The AIDA Model for Persuasive Ad Copy
AIDA is one of the oldest and best-known marketing/sales funnel models, describing four stages a prospect moves through: Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action. The idea is traditionally credited to American E. St. Elmo Lewis in 1898, while C.P. Russell coined the AIDA acronym itself in 1921 in Printers' Ink. In practice when writing an ad: the headline or image grabs attention, the opening line raises interest around the reader's problem, the middle builds desire by highlighting the benefit, and the closing line is one single clear call-to-action (Buy now, Book, Sign up).

Glossary

Core Marketing Performance Metrics: CAC, LTV, and ROAS
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) is total sales & marketing spend divided by the number of new customers acquired in a period. Customer Lifetime Value (LTV/CLV) is the total expected revenue from a customer over the relationship, and the common growth-marketing benchmark (especially SaaS) targets an LTV:CAC ratio of at least 3:1. Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) is calculated as revenue from a specific campaign divided by its cost (a ROAS of 4 means every SAR 1 spent generates SAR 4 in revenue), and differs from profit margin since it doesn't subtract cost of goods. Platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager use it as a headline metric, and any campaign-performance report the assistant drafts should keep the three distinct rather than conflating them.

Regulations & Laws

The Discount & Promotional Offer License
The Ministry of Commerce requires every establishment or online store to obtain a discount license before advertising any sale or price reduction — seasonal (Ramadan, Eids, National Day) or non-seasonal (clearance, opening, anniversary). The license is issued immediately for a SAR 300 fee per establishment via the Ministry's e-services, requiring at least 50% of displayed products to be discounted with a before/after price list. Advertising discounts without a license is punishable by a fine of up to SAR 50,000, imprisonment up to 6 months, or both. Any "weekend sale" or "National Day discount" campaign must confirm the license was issued before publishing.
The SFDA Advertising License for Food, Cosmetic & Pharmaceutical Products
Any advertisement for a food product, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical product in Saudi Arabia must go through the SFDA's electronic advertising licensing system at ads.sfda.gov.sa, where the Authority reviews ad content against its guideline on controls and procedures for advertising food, feed, and public-health pesticides. The ad cannot be published before approval. This matters for any client in beauty, supplements, or functional food — flag that the license application must be submitted before scheduling the campaign launch, not after, to avoid delaying or losing the whole campaign.
The Mawthooq License for Paid Social Media Advertising Content
Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Media Regulation (GAMR — formerly the General Commission for Audiovisual Media, GCAM, before a 2023 renaming) requires any individual, citizen or resident, who earns income from publishing paid advertising content promoting a brand, product, or service on social media — especially influencers — to obtain a Mawthooq license before engaging in the activity, effective since the requirement took effect in October 2022. The license fee is roughly SAR 15,000 for a 3-year term. Conditions include being 18+, a clean record on honor/integrity crimes, and no content violations in the prior 6 months. Purely personal content with no paid promotional element is exempt. Any influencer-marketing campaign should verify each contracted influencer's license first.
The E-Commerce Law and Its Implementing Regulation
The E-Commerce Law was issued by Royal Decree No. M/126 dated 7/11/1440H (10 July 2019) under Council of Ministers Resolution No. 628. Its 26 articles require any online store targeting Saudi consumers to disclose seller identity, contact details, sale terms, prices, and return rights. The Ministry of Commerce can require an advertiser to remove a misleading online ad shortly after notification. Any marketing campaign or landing page for a Saudi e-store — including copy drafted with the Zayenha Marketing assistant — should include full seller details and clear sale terms to stay compliant.
The Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and Direct Marketing Consent
The Personal Data Protection Law was issued by Royal Decree No. M/19 dated 9/2/1443H, took effect on 14 September 2023, with a grace period ending 14 September 2024, and is supervised by the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA). It requires any entity collecting personal data (email, phone number, browsing behavior) for direct marketing or retargeting to obtain explicit consent before use or sharing with a third party such as an ad platform. Fines reach SAR 5 million (doubled on repeat), and up to 2 years imprisonment plus SAR 3 million fine for malicious disclosure of sensitive data. Every data-capture form (newsletter, giveaway, survey) needs explicit consent language before submission.
Anti-Commercial Concealment Law and Its Impact on Marketing Agencies
The current Anti-Commercial Concealment ("Tasattur") Law was issued by Royal Decree No. M/4 dated 1/1/1442H (20 August 2020), replacing the older 1425H law, with the Ministry of Commerce enforcing it alongside other authorities. It criminalizes enabling a non-Saudi to operate a business under a Saudi name/license without genuine ownership — directly relevant to any marketing agency or freelancer managing a client account or running ad campaigns under a commercial registration belonging to someone else without verifying real ownership. Penalties reach 5 years imprisonment and SAR 5 million, plus secondary sanctions: commercial-registration cancellation, license revocation, and asset forfeiture. Before signing any agreement to market on behalf of a third party, verify the commercial registration matches the true owner.

Ready Templates

Core Clauses of an Affiliate Marketing Agreement
The common affiliate marketing agreement template in the Saudi market (also used by platforms like Salla for affiliate programs) minimally includes: (1) the commission rate or flat amount, stated in numerals and words, tied to a clear measurement standard (confirmed sales or qualified leads); (2) payment due dates and calculation/returns-handling; (3) contract term in both Hijri and Gregorian dates plus renewal/termination terms; (4) scope and limits of brand and promotional-content usage; (5) a dispute-resolution and competent-jurisdiction clause. Any prompt drafting an affiliate contract should output all five clauses at minimum, not the commission rate alone.
The Standard Creative Brief Template
The creative brief is the foundational document global advertising agencies (and bodies like the American Marketing Association) use before starting creative work. It covers: (1) the project objective, (2) a detailed target-audience description (demographic, behavioral, pain points), (3) the key message and call-to-action, (4) distribution channels and required deliverables, (5) timeline and budget, (6) success KPIs, and (7) mandatory brand guidelines. Best practice keeps it to one or two pages to maintain focus. When drafting a brief for a Saudi client, add an eighth item for regulatory checks (SFDA, discount, or influencer licenses required) before handing the brief to the designer or copywriter.
